Crushing month ahead

The month where lots of business needs to be conducted is here. Mooting bundle submission is gonna be on this Wednesday. Well, I could finally find a couple of cases to support my ground of appeal but it required a little twist and creative reconstruction as they do not address it directly. However, the argument script has not being produced yet but thankfully, there's time to do that since my mooting date is set on 18th March. Hmmm..that week is gonna be a killer too coz I'm also having a Malaysian Law presentation on that day.

For some reason or so, I met with lots of bad, ridiculous and absurd drivers today. One of the most bizarre one is one driver who was driving against the flow of traffic and he honked at me! What an audacity! Lol..I'll shove one thousand JPJ summons at his exhaust pipe if he dares to bang me. Then in the evening, as I was navigating along one of the row of shops at Nilai, two to three cars were reversing and coming out from parking haphazardly like there's no system. For a moment, I thought I was navigating through the streets of KL.

Btw, I went to one of the optical shops in Nilai to make a new pair of specs. I'm most thankful that I could get the specs frame from my grandfather's shop and that should reduce the cost by almost half. And even making just its lenses is extremely costly. Mid-range ones could come up to RM220. (I'm not sure whether I kena ripped there anot..haha) I've never thought much about the price of specs until now coz all these years, my grandfather makes them for free. Now that he's no longer around, I could feel the pinch at my pocket in just getting the specs. Somehow, looking around the optical shop reminds me of him once again.

This Monday morning will start with some hectic arrangements as I need to collect and settle the renting of equipments from various departments for the Christian Awareness Week. Haha, yesterday the committee members were tying and wrapping the giveaways until our hands grow blue. It's like a never ending job with almost 5k amount of sweets to handle..lol. Anyways, all the information boards and everything will be finalised by tomorrow and I pray that everything will go smoothly for the whole week ahead :)

Stalemate at San Siro

The Romanian and the Bulgarian slugs it out

It was a meeting of former adversaries as Fergie takes the trip to Italy to meet his former foe Jose Mourinho. Fergie didn't exactly have a good record against Mourinho considering that counting all the games including those at Porto, Fergie only won once. It was Mourinho's time at Porto and his infamous victory over United a couple of seasons ago at the Champions League using that Porto team had propelled him to superstardom and gave him the right the call himself "the special one".

The first half was dominated by United as they break constantly into Inter's backline with their pace and quick passing. Inter were clearly having some trouble dealing with the off-ball passing too. Inter's typical slow build-up style was choked up easily through some excellent disposession techniques by the United defenders. Zlatan did not terrify the United defenders as much as Ronaldo did to his Inter team-mates. Giggs was excellent too in breaking through defences but his finishing could not match up to result in a goal Just before half-time though, frustration at the referee in the substitute bench became confrontational when Toldo and Figo decided to give the fourth official a piece of what they're thinking. Too many free kicks and decisions were given in favour to United, as so they seem to have argued. Of course, the ref has no nonsense for that and slapped Toldo with a yellow. On the other hand, the San Siro crowd is getting restless after seeing the amount of chances United have against their goalie. Berbatov, Giggsy and Ronaldo all had superb beautiful chances, but none of them could add to the score.

Inter's performance in the early part of the second half was an improvement as they were the ones iniating the attacks instead. However, Inter players were similarly guilty of missing open chances too. Ronaldo's performance at the San Siro was possibly one of the best ever seen this season. His free kicks were on target but they were matched up evenly by some vital saves of Julio Caesar. A last minute unleashing of Rooney was done in the hope of getting something out of the game but nothing much came out of that coz he came into the game too late. It was the climax of the game at the last few seconds of the game when Ronaldo went up to take on yet another free kick but the Inter goalie was extremely proud of himself to deny the Portugese once again. It ends with a 0-0 score.

United would have rued the missed chances to score especially when the away goal is so vital in deciding the outcome. They were clearly dominating and had enough firepower to kill the game but failed to do so. This was the same situation when they were facing Barca at Nou Camp when Ronaldo missed his penalty and that resulted in 0-0. No away goals meant that a draw with Inter scoring at least 1 will be sufficient for the Italian club to go through. Fergie will have to beef up his defence to block Zlatan and co. from scoring there. The return of Vidic will certainly makes things easier for the defence although O Shea and Evans demonstrated that they were as capable in stopping Zlatan. The ultimate question however will still be whether those missed chances will return to haunt Man Utd.

Seven points ahead

Cheers for Wayne as he scores on his full-fitness return

It was another week of action at Old Trafford as the Rovers paid United a visit there last Saturday. Blackburn were never as potent to be the Achilles heel this season for Man Utd as they languish just above the bottom three. Paul Ince's era there was marked with boo boos, and he was never able to inspire the same kind of confidence from the team as Mark Hughes in the previous seasons. Ironically, Mark Hughes is having a hell of a time at Man City instead. Nevertheless, the arrival of Sam Allardyce was anticipated to add push up the difficulty higher than usual given his managerial experience in the league. Several interesting line-ups placed by Fergie as he leaves out Vidic, possibly for a rest, for a partnership between Ferdinand and Evans.

Wayne marked his total return to full fitness by scoring at the 23rd minute. That certainly started the ball rolling. However, a messed up moment of confusion at the back line allowed Roque Santa Cruz to be the first person to put the ball into United's net since November last year. Haha, United may have lost the record but van der Sar's record is still running because the bloke standing in front of goal at that time was Kuszchak! I guess it's second rate goalkeeping that allowed the ball in. It was understandable that Fergie left out VDS too for that match since the upcoming Inter Milan match and Carling Cup final had more importance and it was vital that the Dutchman maintained freshness and sharpness for both of them.

Anyways, for some reason or so, it's either Blackburn were looking pretty sharp in attack under the tactics of Big Sam or United's defence were crumbling without the presence of Vidic and VDS. Ronaldo's superb free kick at the second half was a dipping rocket shot and that goal sealed the win for United. I guess Fergie was kinda alarmed looking at the amount of Blackburn scares and he subbed in Vidic at the hour mark, just after Ronaldo's goal to prevent any further disasters. At the same time, it's kinda worrying to see Evans limping off as he replaced Vidic since he would most probably be needed for the Milan match considering that United have a mounting injury table from the defence.

Liverpool had to play the chasing game again as United did their part on Saturday. However, things were not looking good at Anfield as Craig Bellamy returns to haunt his old club by inducing an own goal from Arbeloa to give Man City the lead first. Kuyt equalised later at the 79th but Liverpool could not find the winning goal to keep up with United. That leaves them now with a gap of 7 points with about 12 games left to play. Time is running out for the Scousers. Even Benitez himself has recognised that the failure to at minimally win at Old Trafford would mean the end of the chase. Chelsea on the other hand, seemed to be starting on the path of rejunevation following the appointment of new boss Hiddink. Aston Villa were a tough bunch but Chelski managed to steal a 1-0 win at Villa Park to get back to 3rd place again. On the other hand, another Arsenal boo boo as they drew 0-0 with Sunderland. Looks like the arrival of Arshavin is not going to provide an instant answer to their problems. UEFA Cup matches for them next season...ahahaha :)

This week also marks the return of Champions League matches and it'll be a crunching and highly anticipated match-up between Man Utd vs. Inter Milan at the San Siro. The clash between the current no.1 in England and the no.1 in Italy. I see that the old Joga Bonito advertisment of Zlatan v. Ronaldo did happen afterall..lol..

Of Faith and Anticipation

Had to wake up early yesterday to fetch people the Inti people serving in church. Haha..last week was at a later time since no Inti students were serving, so this week is back to the time I'm used to. Anyways, I was reflecting on one of the verses that was brought up in the sermon. It was Hebrews 11:1 where Paul speaks about faith : "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see". He went on in giving a whole list of major events in the Old Testament where people like Abraham and Moses placed their trust in God for future events even though they don't quite see the possibility of things happening based on physical logic and reasoning. In Hebrews 11:6, Paul further points out ,"And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him". Ahhh..that'll provide some answers to those that are curious on how does one believe in something that they do not see :) I was just thinking on some matters and was wondering how I should proceed on with it. Honestly, I was thinking what if I anticipate or predict wrongly again? What if that particular thing was not God's prompting but my own thinking? Part of me just didn't want it to fail from happening. I really want it to happen. And I forsee it being a wonderful and solid path ahead if it turns out to be my destiny. The stakes are high and the consequences are kinda disastrous on the other hand if I predict incorrectly. For some reason or so, Pastor Vic touched on that topic and he gave some conditions to know whether it is God's prompting. There were some hints and signs (I think) pointing to that direction but those could have just been some misintepretation, misdirection or wishful thinking on my part. Although the verse was comforting to me, I think I just need more signs before I'm convinced to really push for it..haha.

Btw, congrats to Pastor Vic too for his newborn baby girl! Papa Gonzalez must be feeling great to be a father! Haha..after church, some of us went to visit his house to have a first look at her. Aye, and this driver is feeling pweettyy pleased yesterday again when he saw all his passengers falling asleep in slumberland while he was on the road..hahahaha.

For today, I went out of my room at about 11am to help out to hang the giant banners. I have to commend the guys who painted and drew on Saturday coz the banners were beautifully done! Fantastic designing and colouring there..hehe. It's great and encouraging to see the preparations for Christian Awareness Week coming into place. I made some slight progress in mooting and that is producing the lead skeletal argument document..haha. After searching endlessly on Lexis Nexis, I could only find one case for my ground of appeal and I'm the leading counsel. Ironically, the junior counsel's ground of appeal had more stuff to talk about actually. The problem is that there is no case law that touches on my ground of appeal. I either have to grab some US or Commonwealth cases, or obiter statements to back up my argument. That's going to take some time and the bundle submission due date is 4th March. Argghhh..hopefully, at least 2 more will do, no matter how obscure it is or whether the source came from the Fiji Islands!..lol

Camera repaired

I went down south for a short visit to collect my Nikon camera which was sent for repairs. It's a good time to pop in and see Mama and my brother too...haha. Friday evening bus, reached in about 4 hours, grab and download the stuff that I need at the house, sleep for a few hours, rest and then I'm off at 11.30am the next morning. Of course, before I depart, I cannot miss one important matter to do and that is to grab fresh some fresh salmon sushi to munch on. Haha, no trip is complete without the raw fishies seriously =p

I managed to get the 2.30pm bus and reached back at campus at around 7pm. Woah, all done in less than 24hrs..hehe. I'm kinda glad that my camera's all patched up and fixed now considering that there are upcoming events that needed it to be operational. The cool thing that the repair team did to the camera was to push back also the slight dent that was found at the bottom of my camera frame. The main problem of motion sensors is fixed and my camera is as good as spanking new now. Woohoo..I shall be looking forward in using it again! =D.

The Speaker strikes back

Lol..really lol..really really lol..

Ahh...if one thinks the Perak drama has quieten down until the court makes a decision, he is gonna be so wrong. The Perak assembly speaker, V. Sivakumar flexes his muscles yesterday as he suspends the clueless coup MB Zambry and six of his exco members from sitting in the assembly for 18 months and 12 months respectively. BN goons got pawned. Big time..haha

Now, unlike the MB and his exco members, the Assembly speaker cannot be removed by the Sultan or the MB. Only a no-confidence motion from the assembly can remove him. Without the assembly sitting in, Sivakumar's butt is as sacrosanct as it can be on the chair. Even if there is an assembly, Sivakumar will surely bar the 3 independent candidates from entering it since he had declared their seats vacant already. This would mean there is no clear majority to remove him from assembly! Now with 7 people out of the sitting, PR would form the majority if any sort of motion were to be tabled. And the no-confidence vote against Zambry can theoratically be tabled with success with PR's majority. But that's in THEORY.

More likely, Zambry is gonna send in a legal team to question the legitimacy of Sivakumar's use of power. It's already foreseen from the time of the coup that Sivakumar is gonna be a thorn in the BN Perak government. Because of his position, he's gonna be able to slow down any attempts used by BN to reverse the decision. It seems that the courts, even if they can declare the suspension void has no power to stop the speaker. The speaker could theoratically (again..haha) enforce the suspension using the Sergeant-at-arms stationed in the legislative assembly. But practically, it would depend whether he regards the Speaker as his boss or the OCPD in Ipoh..lol.

The Perak episode is gonna spiral out of control. All these could have been prevented if snap elections were held to stop all these nonsense once and for all. Now, the ball is in Zambry's court and Najib would have to brainstorm ideas to get out of this dead-lock. Najib himself knows that he cannot afford to be embarassed again before taking office. I have to commend Sivakumar though for having the guts to come up with such a move. I wonder if the Sultan is pondering over the consequences of his decisions. With the by-elections due only in April and the on-going saga of Elizabeth Wong, it's a big mess out there with sporadic battles being fought in individual states. Nevertheless, the wishes of the rakyat must prevail above all and hopefully, let that be shown in the by-elections.

Jesus Freak

I was browsing through the music videos of contemporary Christian artists that I have gotten from Alvin and a few of them really amazes me. Just by glancing at the surface, one would assume that those are just a typical music video that people see every time at music shops or MTV but look deeper inside, the lyrics are actually fueled with Christian contexts. It's great to see that Christians are making full use of the talent of creativity which God had given them. There was one song from quite some time ago which I kinda like. It's dc Talk's 1995 hit "Jesus Freak". I think that's a masterpiece which falls under the genre of rap rock like RATM. There's also some elements of Nirvana's punk rock style in there. The common meaning of freak is "unusual" but another meaning found in the dictionary also shows it to have the meaning of an "enthusiast or a devoted follower". Thus, the term Jesus Freak became part of a Christian subculture and it fortified to become a compliment following the success of dc Talk's album in 1995. The verses of the song is kinda like a poetic rap and the chorus is a super shout-out which goes like this:

What will people think when they hear that I'm a Jesus Freak?
What will people do when they find that it's true?
I don't really care if they label me a Jesus Freak.
There ain't no disguising the truth

tobyMac, one of the members of dc Talk still uses the term and perform the song in his concerts as a solo artist. Haha..it'll be great fun if either CF or GFS can put up a band to perform this song. It's a wonderful song to rock out to and it gets everybody jumping..hehe :)

The other music video and song which is I think has a powerful and serious message in it is KJ-52's "Life After Death". This song is more of a pure rap song and the song really has this "in your face" kind of message shoved to the listener. It's direct and unbashfully straightforward. The first half of the song and rap narration gives me the creeps. It's basically down to two choices and the individual has to pick one. The chorus does provide some reflective and provocative thoughts :

Whatcha gonna do when there's no time left?
Whatcha gonna do when ya take ya last step?
Whatcha gonna do when breath ya last breath
Out the chest and you find that there's life after death?

Something to think about eh? :)

Live Love

Since we're only a day past the 14th, the love mood is still around. Today's sermon was given by Pastor Lopez from the Philippines, who touch on various aspects of love from relationships, parenthood and marriage. Tze was awesome and superb with his electric guitar and solo rendition of Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours". He reminds me of the wedding singer..haha. We also had a renewal of vows for the married couples and they're truly a shining inspiration with some of them being married for over 20 years. Behind every successful man is a woman who supports him. Contrary to all the cynicism about marriage, I think it's probably one of the best things that God has placed in human life. The key to it is having realistic expectations in a relationship and acceptance plus understanding of each other's strengths and weaknesses. For me, I'll definitely look forward in spending time with my lifelong companion that God has planned for me in the future...haha.

Aye, this is utmost embarrassing to mention but I'll put it here for memory's sake..haha. We went to McDonald's after church today and Banting Macs is notorious for its slope at the entrance. The first time I went there with Li Lian and Alvin, my engine went dead there. But that was alright coz I managed to return back up with just another try. Ok, so at this time, I was crossing my fingers that it won't happen again when the gals behind me said that they wanna go Banting Macs. But gosh, it did happen again!! I was already going to go over nicely when the engine suddenly stalled and went dead. Alright, then I tried again and again and again but the funny thing was that the engine always goes dead after 3/4 of the car goes over the slope. That resulted in the car sinking back to the original position again. I didn't wanna press the accelerator too hard coz it would sound super annoying at full blast..haha. Anyways, after thinking back, I found out that my problem was that I released the grip of the accelerator after the car start moving. To avoid wasting more time and with some peeps at Macs staring at me, Ben took over to help me to go over that irritating slope. Argghhh...malu-nya..but I guess that's how people who just start driving always end up in some weird situation. From now on, I think I'll just press the accelerator max..don't care if it's noisy liao. All the confessions of a dude who just got his licence two months ago..haha..and please pass me an Auto car seriously! (where there's no such thing as mati engine there). Lol, like I've mentioned at a few posts ago, I've perfected almost EVERYTHING in the manual car except the slope! Standard Parking ok, changing gears ok, dodging traffic ok, cutting cars ok...but no ok for moving a car on the uphill slope. Oh well, I'm sure God will help me to overcome this weakness of mine. :)

Valentines

V day is..........a normal friendship day for me until the right one comes along..haha. Some singles cynically label it as Single Awareness Day..lol. I believe in patiently waiting for the right one that God has planned for me. Anyways, for those of us still do not have our significant half, V day would also be a good opportunity to reaffirm friendships with the people that we know.

I went to fix the car horn today to avoid having a situation where I need to blow a whistle in an emergency..haha. It seems that not far away from Al-Salam, there's an auto shop which does repairs and sells accessories. Ahhh, that's great coz I won't need to travel all the way to the KTM Nilai area if I want to get any repairs done..lol.

Nilai Methodist Church had a special youth service in the evening and since I didn't have any plans, I went there for a visit. The service was in Mandarin, and even though I understood only about maybe 60% of what was said, I must say the speaker is a really good one in that he engages his listeners. Well, with a different language and different style of church service, it's a rather new experience for me. I'm of the opinion that vernacular churches play a very important role in the body of Christ because they enable more people to know about Christ. Afterall, Christ is for everyone and He's not restricted to just the Westerners or English-speaking people. Christianity is a universal concept and anyone can give praise to God with his/her own native language.

I'll end off this post with a wonderful verse which is appropriate for the day..haha..

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 - Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails..

Teaching drums

Lol..after many years of being a student, I have now placed myself in the shoes of a teacher. Anyways, I'm now teaching basic drums for Impac to earn some pocket money for myself..haha. It's an interesting experience though, to deconstruct everything that I've known from different sources. After playing for a couple of years, it kinda sinks into the sub-conscious for some aspects of drumming. It's like I don't think much on the fundamentals now that I doing more complicated drumming. With teaching, I really had to rake back and scrutinise the sub-conscious mind for the foundations of drumming which comes in automatically nowadays. That include dreaded things like timing and keeping count aloud..haha. Most of the time, my "timing" is based more on listening and instinct.

However, for every newbie to start off, there's still always a need for real physical count out loud timing so that they know when to hit. It's like a baby learning to crawl first before it learns to walk. And each person picks up at different rates. So for every person, it's vital to change my teaching approach so as to enable them to pick up the lessons in an efficient way according to what they're comfortable with. Yesterday, it was not a full class since there was a mix-up on the day and time of the lesson. It was originally supposed to be on Wednesday but since I had CF meetings on Wed, I had to shift it on Thursday. As they are so many people in one class and there's a limited amount of time, everyone can only have a short time to play at the drums. But the good thing about drumming is that you can practice almost anywhere by tapping using the wrists and stomping the feet so as to wire the muscle memory. Oh well, I'll see next week if more people will be joining the lessons..haha

Lol..for today, there was lots of running around as a secretary, getting forms signed and amending plus reprinting mistakes found in the proposal. After CG today, had a match for Left 4 Dead with Charles, Eric and Keith. It was super hilarious especially at the second level when all of us got nearly ripped off by the mob with us barely making it to the safe room at low health. Haha..if we manage to get 4 more people, then we can play versus liao and that'll definitely be game on! =p

Lose it all

I drummed for CF's praise and worship session today and the song list was relatively pleasant to the drummer because 4 of them are slow worship songs. The only praise song was "We want to see Jesus lifted high". Practice session was nice even though we had to repeat one song a few times so as to get the chords right. I kept reminding myself for the praise song to have the sequence of Bridge then back to verse again. In my previous church, it was Bridge to Chorus instead and I'm very used to that. Alas, during the real session, my subconscious mind came up and it was an "OOOPPS!" moment when I started crashing the chorus instead of the verse after the Bridge. Gosh, I noticed the mistake within a split second in horror and I quickly changed back into track..lol. The worship songs were wonderful and I could feel the flow easily and this enabled me to come up with some interesting combinations. It's the first time I'm doing Chris Tomlin's "God in this City" and hey, it's quite a great song to drum to. Last two semesters, I find it kinda hard at first to play both crash and ride on the same cymbal of the CF drums but thank God that for this semester, I seem to be able to reconcile and adapt to them by creating two distinct sounds changing my wrist movements.

The speaker for today was an American (Chris) who was residing in Nilai for the past one year. He's like a missionary travelling around Southeast Asia to teach English and spread God's word at the same time. So, currently, his stop is at Malaysia after previously staying in Cambodia and Thailand. Anyways, his message drew my attention today because it coincided with one of the songs that currently keeps playing in my head. He was referring to Mark 8:34-36 which states: "Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said : If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it but whoever loses his life for me and the gospel will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?" The song that I'm playing quite frequently nowadays is Lose it all by Rush of Fools and both the message and the song complemented each other. Haha..it caught my attention in the first place because the starting riff was pretty addictive. Hmmm..it's certainly food for thought for the content of the verses. I myself too am learning to slowly to focus more on God and let Him guide me in discovering His purpose for me.

There was a Chap Goh Meh event held at the pool in the evening and I went there to have a look after having dinner with the CF folks. There's a couple of performances held there but the interesting activity there is throwing mandarin oranges into the university swimming pool which happens to be a traditional Chap Goh Meh practice. What happens is that both guys and gals will write their name and their contact on the oranges and then throw them in the pool. Towards the end of the event, they will pick up at random one orange of the opposite gender. The identification is ribbons for gals and rubber bands for the guys. So, there you have it, everyone gets to know a new friend..haha, or if in a bizarre stroke of fortune, his/her Valentine..lol.

Hmmm..it's just only mid-week but I'm starting to feel a little worn-out with all the stuffs that I'm organising plus there's upcoming preparations for mooting. But God will give me strength to move on yea :)

Marching On

Vida battles with Cole to preserve United's clean cheet

Man Utd continued their relentless march towards the Premier League title with yet another 1-0 win. United faced West Ham on Sunday in London and had the privilege of going into the match with a buoyant mood after seeing Chelsea drawing 0-0 with Hull at the Bridge. It's never easy playing against West Ham at Upton Park and United had lost several times there in recent years. For the squad, Fergie has placed his old guards Giggs and Scholes to lead the attack but he left Neville out and placed young Rafael to play as right back instead.

It was a goalless affair in the first half and there were several times West Ham threatened to be the first team to score against United since November. Hot-form striker Carlton Cole was notable for making several runs that caused the United back line to be in a panicky state but fortunately for them, Cole's finishing was not as impressive as his run-ins. Anyways, Giggsy broke the deadlock at the 62nd minute with the only goal of the game. It was a fantastic goal by the team captain as it reminded everyone what he used to do in his younger days. Giggsy waltzes into the West Ham half, beating not once but a few defenders who were caught embarrassingly in between their legs. Credit to Giggsy who steps up at moments when it mattered. With this victory, United re-established a 2 point lead over Liverpool with a game in hand. The record continues rolling on, now with 13th consecutive clean sheets.

Things seem to can't get worse for Chelsea isn't it. In the old days, they would have mauled poor Hull to bits at the Bridge. However, Chelsea failed to dismantle a team with one of the worst form in recent times. Frustrations at the Bridge escalated to the point where even their own fans were chanting "You don't know what you are doing" to Scolari. Big Phil is having one of the worst moments in the club, and it proved to be his final swan song. Just this morning, he was given the boot, possibly by Abrahamovic himself. Fellow peers were stunned, considering that Big Phil himself is one of the respected managers in the game having won one of the World Cups with Brazil and bringing Portugal to the final in Euro 2004. Big Phil lasted just 7 months and some were wondering how Graeme Souness managed to keep his job longer than him. He screwed up just this past month, and he got the axe. Gosh, I think they should given him time instead of having irresponsible sacking. It was pointed out by some that Big Phil's failure to sign Robinho was the crucial factor in his futile attempt revitalising a worn-out Chelsea team that was inherited from the days of Mourinho.

It's not looking good for the Bridge. 3 managers sacked within a period of 18 months and at the moment, they are 7 points adrift Man Utd. Even Aston Villa are standing 2 points above them. In a turn of events, looks like only Liverpool remains as a realistic challenger for the league title based on the math. Unless Man Utd slips up really terribly for the next few matches, Chelsea will have to contented at looking at the FA Cup or try to gun for Champions League..that is if they could even get some quality candidates on the managerial seat. A reunion of Zola and Clarke sounds pretty delicious on the cards but the signs are pointing that Abrahamovic is getting tired playing with his London toy.

Concentration Exhaustion

I'm thoroughly exhausted today after completing two taxing concentration dependent tasks of driving and drumming. The sheer amount of focus squeezes my brain hard. Other than playing for service today, there's also a workshop after that. Lol, I believe the ability to handle prolonged hours of focusing and concentration depends alot highly on the stamina and strength of the mind power. It's a whole different arena from physical strength. Today's service was great and I'm pleased indeed to be able to contribute to the atmosphere..haha. The style I played today reminds me of Meg Ryan's drumming, simple yet powerful. Another thought that was running through my mind was that the two worship songs I mentioned before actually follows the style of Muse's Soldier's Poem. Hehe, I also managed to improvised a little on those instances when I lost count during those period of doing the new beats. =p

Hmmm..Pastor Vic's sermon today kinda provided me an answer on why certain stuff didn't work out in the past. Indeed, when the Lord makes the call on certain stuff, He'll make sure it turns out that way even though there's no logical explanation for it.

Saturday 7 February 2009

Long weekend

I started off the day by fetching the worship team to Banting. I thought that I could have some time to do my mooting preparation but I've just been turned from driver to drummer because Chandran couldn't make it for today's practice. Wahhh..I didn't have any opportunity to listen to any of the songs before so, I just went by faith to play the best I could since some of them I played before. Anyways, for the first time, the worship songs posed a problem to me because I think both "Beautiful Saviour" and "I Need You" by Planetshakers do not conform to the typical 4/4 beat. As usual, I need to skew my brain to adapt to a new beat but getting the rolls will need a bit more work. So, when it comes to the instrumentals of the two songs, I can't freely smash as I like to but to keep timing. Hmmm..hopefully tomolo's session will turn out good..

I think today's driving experience was great. There were lots of cars in Banting town itself but I managed to navigate through safely and my timing in changing gears were nicely done. The fact that both Ben and Jia Lerd could sleep soundly while I was driving is a testament that I've improved lots since I start driving full time in December..hahahaha. Just don't make me start a car from a uphill slope will do..lol. =p

Ahhh..I just realised about the amount of work that is piled onto me since last week. There's lots of stuff to be done for Christian Awareness Week where there are proposals to be filled up, approvals to be stamped and making records of meeting minutes. Finding committee members for the law magazine is seems to be harder than it looks, but I hope I can get a team ready soon to get things rolling. For both projects, I have to write sponsorship letters too! Hmmm..the editor/secretary's job is now also being a part-time professional beggar..hehe. And since I had secured a "contract" to teach drums an Impac, I'll also need time to draft out a syllabus and teaching methodology. Calvin provided me some tips of it and he's also a very good drummer too. I've finally learned the elusive technique of double hitting with one stroke of the stick after getting some input from Calvin..haha. Now that'll help me to rattle some of those rolls that are found in Paramore songs! Lots of stuff to handle and thankfully, this weekend is a long one with Monday being a public holiday :D

A matter of pragmatism

The only thing necessary for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing - Edmund Burke

The BN takeover procedures were more or less completed today with the swearing in of the new BN Menteri Besar. Datuk Seri Nizar reported to work as usual this morning but he and his exco members were shocked to see his office being emptied of its contents. It's fine that they want to force him to resign but to clear away his office by force and to have FRUs surrounding the place has just turned poor Perak into a police state. Not only that, people going to mosque without armed weapons are fired with tear gas as if a massive vicious riot has just broke out. Gosh, they should spend those cannister of tear gases in controlling crimes and gangsters instead of abusing the poor rakyat.

I'm still trying hard to make sense out of this whole fracas. Let's take a step back and look at it in the most possible simplistic way that even the man on the street can understand. Forget about all those legal jargons and constitutional issues. I could narrow down to the most pressing reason why a minimum of by-elections is needed at least and in the wider (if possible) sense, the dissolution of the assembly. It's a matter of pragmatism really and it does not need a lawyer to figure this out. This gotta to do with the three independent candidates.

Ok, the situation now is that they have just turned pro-BN. No matter what kind of reasons they give, the people are angry, frustrated and dissappointed. Especially the folks in Jelapang. Now the 3 kataks are in the so-called "majority" party. Fine. But does the Sultan considered whether how those three are even going to carry out their jobs as assemblymen properly? It's practically impossible that the Jelapang service center will ever open again! 12 000 people voted in majority of the DAP will definitely be after Hee's blood. She can't even step foot in the area again. The same goes for Behrang and Changkat Jering. In that case, they are as useless to even sit in the Perak assembly and there is no point in them for holding office if their purpose is just to make up for the numbers for BN. Assemblymen are there to serve, not to goyang kaki and hide away when they incur the wrath of the rakyat. It's just common sense that the three seats be vacant since the 3 assemblymen can no longer fulfill their role properly. This is the most basic and broken down single reason that is needed to prove that the 3 seats has no legal business to exist in the legislative body in the first place and therefore do not add the numbers to the "majority" of the BN.

The situation is still looking tense even after Zambry is sworn in. Nizar has bravely held on in maintaining that he's the 10th MB and that he's not resigned. If what the Sultan did was unconstitutional, this meant that Perak is having two MBs right now where one government is forcefully imposed while the other is being repressed but still fighting on. A constitutional crisis indeed. This battle will materialise all the way up to the Federal Court and if the resignation letters are deemed to be valid, it would reflect badly on the Royal House. But still, I having doubts that the judiciary would do something as adventurous as this. Most probably, they will construe it in such a way that the Sultan's interpretation of the Perak constitution actually goes according what was written. Ahhh..I guess that's the wonders of Statutory Intepretation ehh..With the weekends and Thaipusam holidays coming up, any legal action that the PR wants to take will have to wait until Tuesday. Until then, it'll be a furious exchange of words.

Perak-ians were robbed

The last hope of the Pakatan Rakyat in retaining Perak have been more or less quashed. HRH Sultan Azlan Shah has refused to grant Datuk Seri Nizar the consent to dissolve the Assembly for fresh elections. The new BN Menteri Besar will be sworn in tomorrow afternoon. A lot of questions by the rakyat. A lot of questions unanswered.

Malaysia is a constitutional monarchy. As a former Lord President, Sultan Azlan Shah knew well enough on the inside outs of the Malaysian constitution. In 2004, he had written, “Under normal circumstances, it is taken for granted that the Yang di-Pertuan Agong would not withhold his consent to a request for dissolution of parliament. His role is purely formal.” No Sultan or Agung has withheld consent to dissolve since 1977. Just as in Britain, it is a convention held that the Royal House will not refuse assent to dissolve the legislative body if it is advised by the PM. In Perak's case, it would be the Menteri Besar. Thus, the first questionable area is, why did the Sultan refused the request by the legitimate MB of Perak and furthermore, implied that he would be sacked if he refused to budge from his position. Clearly, the powers of the monarchy do not extend to the point of dismissal as they are only allowed to appoint.

It is not true to say that BN commands the majority. It is tied at 28-28. How can the fate of a state be decided by 3 Independent candidates that can freely pick between different sides? Two of them are of questionable status facing corruption charges and the BN fellas are taking them in. If the two of them are found to be guilty for the charges, then wouldn't there be another fiasco? There is still the High Court action in determining the legitimacy of the resignation letters. Surely the Sultan could at deferred his decision until then before deciding whether to install the new BN government. Why the hurry in installing the new man when all these are done in a questionable and dubious nature? Seriously, I tak faham..why the hurry?

It is fair to say that the Pakatan Rakyat has lost all moral grounds in criticising the frogs jumping over because Anwar made the no.1 mistake when he accepted Botaman. Some are even saying "padan muka" because this was exactly the thing which Anwar had envisioned in the federal level for September 16. However, the wishes of the Rakyat cannot be swept aside just like this. Dissolving the Assembly for fresh elections is not being biased to the Pakatan Rakyat even if it was claimed as such by Barisan supporters. It is the spirit of democracy that is being upheld. It is as neutral as it gets. BN should not fear the re-elections if it claims to uphold the interest of the rakyat. Both sides have another fair chance to reconvince its electors of its credibility. Of course, if it's too messy to hold a statewide elections, then at least hold a by-elections for the questionable areas of Behrang, Changkat Jering and Jelapang. The people voted for the party, not for the individual.
I could imagine the amount of red-faces that are incensed in Jelapang right now. The Sultan's statement in claiming that Nizar had lost the majority of the assembly vote could not be taken as the basis for discarding the PR government. It is ultimately the will of the people that prevails. Bear in mind that the popular votes for PR outnumbers those in BN in Perak too. It's getting ridiculous if one looks from the beginning. First, EC claims that by-election not possible and asks Nizar to dissolve assembly. Now, when he attempts to dissolve assembly, he was asked to resign from his post.

This decision by the Sultan will not go down well with the Rakyat. It would be proper if he provides the rationale behind his decision.
The media statement that he released did not provide many any solid answers at all. The role of the monarchy would be under scrutiny more than ever. Even Tok Guru Nik Aziz has cautioned the Royal House, reminding them of the episode during Mahathir's era when he radically curbs the monarchy's power. He pointed out that the Royal House does not need another blow in that it also loses the confidence of the rakyat. One possible conspiracy theory is that Najib could have impliedly threatened to curtail royal powers if he didn't get the direction that he wanted. While Najib's camp is celebrating, old guards like Mahathir(ironically) and Tengku Razaleigh are even warning that it would be a tremendous backfire on public opinion on the BN over the dubious nature of takeover.

The rakyat sees the Royal House as the last bastion of hope for conscience. I hope Tuanku would reconsider his decision because this is not about Pakatan Rakyat or BN. It's about the choice of the rakyat. They are the electorates and they deserve the chance to choose again. They don't deserve to be marginalised like this because of the mistakes of the politicians.

Today is one of the darkest days of democracy in Malaysia. The rule of law is not upheld and leadership is imposed rather than elected. Malaysians from all walks of life are gathered at Nizar's residence to show a last stance support. It's a somber mood, with prayers being offered rather than outright confrontation with the police. Some people who are not from Perak even travelled all the way to Ipoh for the gathering. Folks like RPK and Zaid Ibrahim are there to offer support too. It's just a simple democratic principle. Let the people decide who's fitting to govern them. The only last possible glimmer of hope now for the rakyat in Perak to have chance to choose lies with the High Court for the validity of the resignation letters. With the police and civil service being pro-BN and the possibility of moles being planted in the judiciary, it doesn't look very optimistic for any last-ditch hope of survival of the PR state government in Perak. God help us all...

Critical Drama

In a sweep of rushful events, the Pakatan Rakyat-led state of government in Perak is on the verge of collapse. The three individuals in question finally came public with their statements and all three resigned from their parties to become Independent MPs that are pro-BN. And then...what's this?! A fourth figure has emerged into the equation and it's the Bota MP who first started the whole thing! Nasaruddin appeared too and now he claims that he's returning back to UMNO with his "conscience and responsiblity". WTH?!! He might as well say that he jumped at the wrong time and now that the PR boat becomes the sinking one, he's returning back to dry land. And to think that just a couple of days ago, Anwar was saying "Syabas" to him. This is treachery and treason of the highest caliber committed by all the four frogs!

Najib is one smarty ass. You gotta take your hats off him for his political turnaround even though it looks very unethical. (not that one should condone such behaviour..haha) He's not even the PM or chairman of BN yet but still he could produce results that only Badawi could dream of after the March elections. This episode could increase his stranglehold of power in his party and he's displaying the same aptitude like Mahathir in dealing with his opponents. He's beginning to instill a resurgent belief among his followers and provided the timely morale boosting support that he needs before officially taking over in March 2009. This Perak episode was vital to create the admiration and respect that was needed to rally his troops.

Just weeks ago, BN was on the whipping end for Kuala Terengganu. And after Botaman ran to PKR and Tajol Rosli kena malu-ed, it looked like BN is gonna be in big trouble. But Najib in the background is probably puling the strings calmly and the rumours of PKR men joining over the side turned out to be true. This time, Anwar played the wrong card when he "broke" the unspoken rule of crossing over. He accepted Botaman's defection. In that, he changed the rules of the game and Najib is given the licence to go all out in playing the revised edition of the game. Najib seemed to be implying that "for everyone 1 man you take from us, we can take two from yours and now that one man who crossed over is ours too!" Botaman was the bait and he turns out to be the perfect Trojan horse. In a way, one could say that Anwar is now paying the price for his failed September 16 coup.

Anyways, Najib should not go around declaring that he can form a new Barisan state government. The current tally in Perak is 28 PR, 28 BN and 3 Independent. Even if he does manage to form the BN state government, what difference does it make from the current PR government? It's still a shaky one which did not command a solid majority. Surely, the next time another person crossover, then another state government changeover drama will occur again. Secondly, it's freaking bloody unfair that the Perak people get the BN government just because of the defections of 4 frogs. There is no way that the 4 frogs is speaking for the majority of the rakyat. There are approximately 10 seats in Perak where the BN commands less than 1000 majority. A majority in Parliament does not necessary command the majority approval of the rakyat. In Malaysia, candidates are voted in because of their party rather than their individual qualities. Some of these candidates are not even fit to stand as independent candidates if not for the support of their own parties. In a way, the Perak drama exposes the inherent weakness in the PR that a handful of the candidates inside are just not plain ready and qualified to serve the country and it was only because of the opposition euphoria that they are even voted in. Thus, a fresh election is needed to let the Perak people once and for all, with a clear majority hopefully, on their choice of government. If the PR government should fall, it should fall in a fair way because of the rakyat and not some froggies that melompat-lompat around.

I think that this entire Perak episode should also be a lesson for the Pakatan Rakyat. Party-hopping is wrong regardless of which of party the person is from. If it works one way, it will work backwards too. Now, the problem doesn't end here as both sides will not take things quietly after Perak. Already news are surfacing that Najib is looking at Kedah as the next point while Anwar is looking to capitalise on Negri Sembilan. Of course, the poor losers from all these politicking are the rakyat. Its gonna devastate the economy further during these times when Najib and his BN machinery is concentrating more on killing off his opponents than solving the current nagging economic problem. Anyways, it was strange that one of the vocal objections of the nature of BN's bold coup of the state government came from Mahathir himself who pointed out that public opinion would go against the party if they take in the two PKR defectors. Ohh..I thought that he would praise Najib for a job well-done in following his tactics from his book..haha.

So, now once again, we would see the intervention of the royal monarchy into politics as the Sultan mulls over the decision whether he should dissolve the State Assembly. He had already made a wise decision in picking Nizar as the MB over Jamaludin Radzi. Hopefully, he would pick the wiser choice albeit a more radical one in dissolving the state assembly. I have to say the image of the monarchy in the eyes of the rakyat is also now at stake as the whole of Malaysia awaits the decision of the Perak Sultan. As I said in my previous post, it would be a shame to see Nizar to go away like that because he was a fine gentleman. The coming of power by BN in Perak will set an unhealthy precedent where the government falls because of defections. Not only that, this blatant usurpation of power would be done unconstitutionally because in order for Nizar to be removed from his post, there needs to be proper channels for a vote of no-confidence. Najib just can't go up there to the Sultan and immediately ask to form the new government. The BN is very adept in playing psychological warfare. Legally speaking, the PR government is still in power but reports are starting to surface pointing out "The Fall" or total collapse and are starting the discussions over which BN man should be the new MB.

Regardless whether Najib wins Perak or not, it would not change the hearts and minds of Malaysians who are already all beaming with anger over this blatant usurpation of power. People do feel the revulsion over the treachery of the 4 frogs. He could win this battle but he'll lose the coming war ahead in 2013.

Trouble in Perak

After the General Elections in 2008, Perak had always being known as a volatile state where the current Pakatan Rakyat state government had a narrow majority over the BN. Even within the PR state government itself, there was some initial uneasiness of a PAS Menteri Besar heading a state when the other coalition parties like PKR and DAP had more seats. So far, the latter complication had been more or less solved and Nizar Jamaluddin is gaining the respect for his role as the Menteri Besar. Personally, I think he did a great job so far as he had demonstrated that he was the MB for all Perak-ians rather than the MB for his political party. Somehow, he gives off a favourable impression that he's detached from all political affiliations while doing his job. It's admirable from his conduct, handling of issues and even the way he dresses that he's attempting to stamp a figure of neutrality in the state of affairs of Perak. This is contrasted with his more vocal counterpart in Kedah who is leaning more towards his party line in the construction of state policies.

Anyways, I always thought that the next big bust-up in Perak would probably involve the disparity of ideologies between the PAS and DAP but the recent crisis in Perak seems to be of a different species. It's a time of confusion and it started off when Bota Assemblyman Nasaruddin crossed over to PKR. That episode also resulted in the resignation of the former MB, Tajol Rosli as the head of state opposition. I think the obviously provoked BN machinery, now headed de facto by Najib, saw it fit that they go for a tit-for-tat retaliation over such an embarrassment. And in comes the revelation of two froggies who appeared to be "missing" out of a sudden. Up till now, I'm still confused over the issues. 1. Who gains more if both of them resigns? Why is PR adamant that both of them resign? 2. Do the two of them even want to resign in the first place? First, there were allegations that they are unhappy with the state PKR leadership and so they are seeking to be independent MPs. At the same time, they maintain that they are still MPs for their constituents. The two statements are conflicting with each other. And one of them, Jamaludin Md Radzi was once formerly nominated to be the Menteri Besar of Perak! Well, perhaps the Perak Sultan was indeed wise in his choice of picking Nizar. In this mass disorientation, out of a sudden, stories start to emerge that a DAP assemblyman is "missing" too. Allegations of cracks and faction fighting are starting to emerge. There were rumours regarding Ngeh-Nga stronghold facing off with another clique led by Fong Po Kuan.

At this time when it's near to Najib's consolidation of power in March 2009, caution must be given to the media reports that are being flashed around the country at this time. The initial mini problem in Perak can grow into a huge wild fire with just some prompting from ambiguous reports, assumptions and batu api sources. Perak is already as fragile as it is and of course BN sees no harm in sowing a few more seeds of doubts and confusion in the area to their advantage since it is up to them to knock off the stilts that are propping the PR state government. The mess is magnified to the extent where there's suggestion that the whole Perak state assembly should be dissolved. Unless the two fellas come clean in the public over their current stance and plans, everyone will be in a situation of disarray. It would also be good if HRH Raja Muda Nazrin Shah inputs some wise advice on this situation. For now, it's best to take the national media reports with a pinch of salt and counter compare them on the other side of the story with perhaps, the personal statements of Anwar Ibrahim and Lim Kit Siang in their blogs.

12th Clean Sheet

Edwin is the delighted owner of 1122 minutes of safe hands

Two ex-United players made a homecoming visit at Old Trafford for the Everton match and they are Tim Howard and Phil Neville. Lol..they were once comrades in arms for United in defence right at this stadium. Saha would have been the third old boy but he's MIA at the moment. It would be an excellent psychological and practical advantage if Man Utd were to grab the three points since it would heap tremendous pressure for the two giants clashing on the next day to get some favourable results so as to keep up. Fergie kept almost the whole of the same team that whipped the Baggies. The only change he made was Fletcher taking over Giggs at the center.

As expected, Everton were not an easy team and they won't roll over easily. Howard himself made several brave saves. I thought Tevez looked particularly impressive in this game. He was hardworking and his pace enabled the whole team to penetrate deep inside into Everton territory. Of course, if his finishing was as lethal, United would probably be up by several goals already. The main threat from Everton will always be Arteta and given that Everton is lacking from an established striker, the only possible way that they will do damage to United is through free-kicks by Arteta. Ahhh..Man Utd's breakthrough moment came in just before half time when Carrick was tripped in the box and the referee pointed at the spot. It wasn't really super duper obvious but not many Everton players protested since I think Carrick looked like an honest player to them..haha. I bet that if it was Ronaldo who tripped in the box, all of them will be crowding round the referee..lol. Of course, Ronaldo duly converted the penalty and that would prove to be the only decisive winning goal of the match. Carrick actually had another valid penalty claim in the 2nd half but the referee kinda refused to give it coz it would looked suspiciously..err..biased even if Carrick was indeed a honest lad. Anyways, a win is still is a win even with another 1-0 style. Edwin would have been proud though because his record now stretches to 12 consecutive games without conceding.

Now, for the clash of the titans, United supporters will definitely be pleased if both Scousers and Chelski screwed themselves all over with a draw. But if there has to be a winner in this match, I'll have to go for the lesser evil of Liverpool because once again, I feel that they have a higher tendency to screw up than Chelsea..haha. After getting an infamous win at the Bridge, the Scousers would fancy their chances in repeating the feat at Anfield itself. Both teams looked quite evenly matched and although Liverpool had more chances at goals, they didn't find the needed killing touch. At the hour marked, the scales were truly tipped to Liverpool's favour when Lampard was shown a straight red for studs raised high on the ankles. Aikkkss..and he was my captain for this gameweek for my fantasy football team. It's gonna be double minus points =(. Anyways, I thought Frank was unfortunate in getting sent off because he really did get the ball but just that one second of wrong positioning for his boots got him the matching orders.

With a man advantage, the Scousers started to knock hard on the door of the Chelsea goal. But in my opinion, the closest of threatening shots came only and strangely too, with the subbing in of Yossi Benayoun. Now, Ratatouille fired once a spectacular shot but it was matched up with an equally superb save by Cech. Then, the second one was beyond the reach of Cech but it went just narrowly off target. At the 89th minute, Torres pops in a glancing header to put the Scousers up at 1-0. There's still time for Chelski to get the equaliser to run off with a sucker punch draw but Yossi was there to provide Torres with a simple finishing and thereby, condemning Chelski to a defeat. Oh yea, Bosingwa could have been sent off towards the last minute because that fella couldn't stand Yossi running down the clock at the corner flag. He gave Yossi a nice kick in the ass and I'm surprised the referee or his assistant didn't see that. Well, Yossi will show Bosingwa who's butt is more golden after the match..haha. I realised also that in the battle between two managers with kidney stones, the younger one actually won..lol.

It looks like Liverpool is now putting some small streaks of daylight between themselves and Chelsea until the next time when they screw up..haha. With Scolari's Chelsea having a trend of losing embarrassingly this season to their close rivals, questions will be asked on whether Scolari had the mentality to piece together a final push for the title. Man Utd are certainly not playing the free flowing scoring days like last season but they are grinding out the important results. A miserly defence would prove to be as important as scoring goals. Nowadays, United fans are looking more at the thrill of defenders guarding the goal for the clean sheet than the attackers doing the scoring. Lol..all the 1-0 wins are starting to give me an impression of headshot sniping goals...

Sunday 1 February 2009

It's February already!

Lol..I've managed to get a 4.30pm bus at Larkin yesterday and reached campus at around 9.30 pm plus. I find that carrying my lappy on my shoulder is so much easier than lumping together with the hand luggage. Basically, my hands for this trip is kinda free because I used a backpack instead of a duffel back to carry my load..haha

This morning I was transportman once again and fortunately, the car could still start despite being on hiatus for 1 week. Wahh, I nearly kena accident 2 times today but by God's grace, it didn't happen. The first incident was when I was making an additional trip to Mara College to fetch a student to church. The turning section just before the church is notoriously dangerous because all those incoming cars going straight don't bother to slow down. As I slowly turned, bearing in mind of the incoming traffic, one car zoomed past me by an inch of hair along the lane I was going to turn to. Oh gosh, that car was actually quite a distance away but instead of slowing down to let me pass, it was hell-bent in increasing its speed just to go past me. Then the second one was when I was returning back to Nilai. Some biker blokes decided to turn the mini highway in the area into a MotoGP racetrack. Two to three sped past me and I thought that was all. Out of no where, another 3 were tailgating me from behind, turned up their exhaust and they were spreading all over the place. It was kinda confusing for a second on two since they can't make up their mind on which lane they want to move. In the end, they just sped away without incident..whew!

With me back at campus, there's a whole lot of things to be taken care of other than the finals. Two main projects to be precise where I happened to be part of the committee. There's Christian Awareness Week coming up at the 1st of March and then there's the Law Faculty annual Magazine. In addition of being the secretary for CAW, I'm also doing the videos+music part of it. As the editor of the magazine, I'll need to assemble a new team to handle different sections of it. Hmmm..that's gonna take some time. Besides that, I'll need to brainstorm article ideas and also who to interview. Woah, these are gonna be two big projects to handle on my part and I hope I can do it well with God's help :)

It's February already within just a flash of the eye and it's gonna be so near the finals. That'll be approximately in 2.5 months or so and mooting is coming even at nearer date at around March. Time passes by quickly without me noticing ehh.. =p
